Hollywood is learning the ways of appeasing Indian audiences to grow their foothold and connecting with Indian movie stars and making them the front to promote the movies is the latest trend they are following. Ranveer Singh is the voice of Deadpool in the second movie of the franchise. Before that, Rana Daggubati was the voice of villain Thanos in the Telugu version of Avengers: Infinity War.

The list goes on. Tiger Shroff voiced Peter Parker in the Hindi version of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Varun Dhawan was Steve Rogers in Captain America: Civil War, Arshad Warsi was the voice of Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean and Shah Rukh Khan was Mr Incredible in 2004 movie The Incredibles' Hindi version.

What we are going to describe now may fall under 'mild spoiler' category for Deadpool 2 So those who don't want to know about it, please turn away right now and read the spoiler-free review instead.

Speaking of Deadpool and Shah Rukh Khan, the latest outing of Merc with Mouth pays tribute to Badshah of Bollywood and Mozart of Madras AR Rahman's movie Swades. Of course, it is done in that particular Deadpool style of insulting and loving everyone at the same time.

In 2016's Deadpool, when Wade Wilson aka Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) met Indian cab driver Dopinder (Karan Soni) for the first time, we heard Raj Kumar's iconic 'Mera Joota Hai Japani' from the movie Shree 420. The song didn't serve a purpose then. It just established that Dopinder is Indian.

But in Deadpool 2, towards the climax, we hear AR Rahman and Shah Rukh Khan's song 'Yuhin Chala Chal' from movie Swades. In the scene, Deadpool, Cable (Josh Brolin), and Domino (Zazzie Beetz) double down on Cable over his racist nature as he orders Dopinder to turn the volume down on the inspiring, cheerful song while they all are inching towards some serious action scenes (that also include massive CGI fights). To Hindi speaking ears, the joke makes more sense because the song asks the squad to keep marching on even though one of them is being racist, difficult, obtuse and all of the above.

Deadpool 2 is filled with such gags. So when you walk in to watch the movie on Friday, be alert and don't miss references and brilliant cameos.

He said when he was performing, Shah Rukh and Salman came on stage and "took the whole atmosphere to another level". "It is very difficult to make the two superstars dance together on the stage. Both of them were dancing on stage for almost an hour. Then Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor did lot of fun on stage," Mika said.

When asked whether Salmam should also marry now, Mika said, "I think Salman is an ultimate human being. He is really handsome and down to earth individual and when he sings, he looks really cute. Directed by Hansal Mehta, ‘Omerta’, the much-delayed film, is finally slated to release on 4th May.
Over time, Bollywood has seen new types of villains and the definition kept changing till date, where movies see very few characters as villains.

Pran, Om Puri, Amrish Puri, Amjad Khan were some inspiration for Shah Rukh Khan, who played negative characters in movies like ‘Darr’, ‘Baazigar’ and ‘Anjaam’.

The superstar himself then turned inspiration for his coming generation, and the latest who performed on that level is Ranveer Singh as Alaudin Khilji.

Both Shah Rukh and Ranveer instead have turned an inspiration for Rajkummar Rao’s character in ‘Omerta’, a story of the most dreadful terrorist.

Revealing to BollywoodLife, Rajkummar Rao said, “Playing an antagonist is quite fascinating.  We’ve seen it in the past, be it Shah Rukh sir in ‘Darr’ or Ranveer Singh as Khilji in ‘Padmaavat’ or Heath Ledger in ‘Dark Knight’. I thought it would be fun to explore the antagonist side of the film, especially in this film which is about the antagonist, who is a terrorist. There is no hero at all. He is such an evil mind and I’ve not explored this territory before ‘Omerta’. So I thought it would be interesting to try something new, something so dark, which is not me at all. I did not connect with him at any level and hence, I thought it would be exciting to explore this!”

Directed by Hansal Mehta, ‘Omerta’, the much-delayed film, is finally slated to release on 4th May.

In his last few films, Rajkummar Rao has impressed both the audience and critics alike with his power-packed performances. Now, he will be seen in Hansal Mehtra's upcoming film 'Omerta', where he essays the role of British-born Pakistani terrorist Omar Saeed Sheikh. The film chronicles the 1994 Delhi kidnappings, the 9/11 World Trade Centre attack, the brutal beheading of Daniel Pearl and the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai.

Naturally, the actor will be seen giving an intense performance. When he was asked about how he prepped for his character, Rajkummar revealed in an interview that he looked at Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh, and the late Hollywood actor, Heath Ledger, for inspiration. The actor, who finds playing an antagonist fascinating, referred to their films like 'Darr', 'Padmaavat' and 'The Dark Knight', where they have essayed negative roles. Though he did not connect with his character in his upcoming film on a personal level, he was definitely excited to explore it on screen. 'Omerta' is a crime drama shot in real locations across London and India and releases on May 4.

When Shah Rukh Khan Spoke About Working With Aditya Chopra On A BIG PROJECT

The rumour mills are rife that Shah Rukh Khan is in talks with YRF for a film, and the same would go on floors after he is done shooting for Zero. While the genre and director are still not known, there is a huge possibility of the superstar teaming up with Aditya Chopra for the fourth time after Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Mohabbatein and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

When the author of this article interviewed Shah Rukh Khan during the promotions of Fan, the superstar had confirmed that he is in talks with Aditya Chopra for a very big film.

“Aditya Chopra has plans to do a film with me. All he has told me is the fact that is a very big project and I might have to sit for two months with Adi to prepare for the character. He told me that the shooting will be wrapped up in three months, but I will have to work with him on character for two months prior to shooting for the film. I have no idea what he is making, but he has just asked me to keep my dates free next year (For 2017). He has been planning one film with me after Befikre,” said Shah Rukh Khan.

Shah Rukh Khan and ace director and producer Aditya Chopra are ready to team up again for an upcoming project. Although, Shah Rukh Khan is packed to the brim with shooting for Zero and his IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders. The actor is all set to collaborate yet again with Aditya Chopra after Fan.

According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan has given a green signal for Yash Raj Film’s next production under the direction of Aditya Chopra. Although the whole project shall start only once SRK has cleared away all other current projects. However, it is still unclear whether that project will be Dhoom 4, according to rumors, or something entirely new.

The duo was last seen collaborating for Maneesh Sharma’s directorial Fan in 2016. The story revolved around a superstar’s doppelganger fan who turns into a dangerous foe when the former refuses the latter’s advances. Although the film didn’t quite fare well at the box office, it won King Khan many accolades for bringing back the negative shade of Shah Rukh Khan.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is busy with the shooting of Aanand L. Rai’s directorial Zero, also starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in key roles. The movie will be quite an experience as we get to see SRK in a never before avatar, that of a dwarf! Challenging, but that’s why he is King Khan of Bollywood.

There are talks going on the trade that the film in question is Aditya Chopra’s dream project, which is love story of a warrior, set against the backdrop of some heavy-duty action. Apart from the YRF film, Shah Rukh Khan is also in talks with directors for films like Salute and Vikram Vedha.

It would be interesting to see how Khan sorts out his calendar and starts working on the exciting films that he is discussing with several producers. While Salute and the film with YRF seems to be ambitious projects, Vikram Vedha on the other hand is the official remake of the critically acclaimed Tamil thriller by the same name.

With so many film names popping up, only time shall say which film does SRK eventually signs on for after Zero. Let the countdown begin.

Shah Rukh Khan puts forth his conditions to be a part of 'Vikram Vedha' Hindi remake?

If reports are to be believed, then Shah Rukh Khan has been roped in to star in the Hindi remake of R Madhavan's 'Vikram Vedha'. However, it's not easy to woo over the Badshah of Bollywood. Reports suggest that SRK had put forward two conditions for him to accept the project.

Condition one is that R Madhavan will play his role even in the remake and that he reprises the part of Vijay Sethupathi; the other one is that Neeraj Pandey will not only produce but also direct the film. The original director duo, Pushkar and Gayatri were supposedly retained for the remake too. However, with SRK’s conditions, the scenario might change. Let’s wait and watch.

Recently there were rumours that Shah Rukh Khan might not star in the Hindi remake of 2017 neo-noir Tamil drama, 'Vikram Vedha'. But now reports have it that the actor has finally given a nod for the project.According to a report by an online portal, SRK wanted two major changes in the script, but the makers were unwilling to accommodate them initially.

However, after Neeraj Pandey acquired the remake rights of the film SRK's demands were eventually fulfilled and Neeraj is keen on having Shah Rukh Khan on board for the project. If reports are to be believed then Shah Rukh Khan was offered Madhavan's role in the remake but SRK demanded to play the role of Vijay Sethupathi. Earlier the makers were not sure about the same but latest reports suggest that they have agreed to SRK's demand.Initially, there were reports speculating that the original director duo, Pushkar, and Gayatri will be directing the remake.

But SRK wasn't convinced about the same and wanted Neeraj Pandey to direct the film. Reportedly the makers have even agreed to this demand. Official announcements of the project are yet to be made. Currently, Shah Rukh Khan is shooting for Aanand L Rai’s 'Zero'. The film also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in key roles. 'Zero' is slated to release on December 21, 2018.

But the actor has two conditions towards working in the remake, reports Bollywood Life.
One such condition is that R. Madhavan will play his role even in the remake and the superstar himself will reprise the part of Vijay Sethupathi.

The other condition SRK put forth is that the movie will not only be produced by but also directed by Neeraj Pandey, states the same report.

The original director duo, Pushkar and Gayatri were reportedly being retained for the remake too, but it appears that SRK doesn’t want that to happen and he wants Neeraj’s storytelling for this one.
