He’s one of the most successful tech entrepreneurs on the planet.
So it seems fair that Bill Gates, 62, should enjoy an evening out on the town in London, as he was pictured leaving 5 Hertford Street with stains on his clothing.
The Microsoft mogul’s pale blue shirt had been marked with brown stains, while his grey trousers had marks on them too.
Despite the mishap, Bill looked suave as ever in a checkered navy jacket, which highlighted his broad shoulders.
On Friday evening the billionaire was seen out and about in London again, as he left Jamavar restaurant in Mayfair.
Bill opted for slate grey trousers during the outing, and donned a navy polo shirt in his slightly more casual ensemble.
He was joined by his wife Melinda, 53, who was resplendent in peach trousers with a matching sleeveless top, looking stylish for the evening.
Bill and Melinda have dedicated much of their lives to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which seeks to combat issues such as the spread of malaria and HIV.
In May, it was revealed that the foundation is starting a new fight against systemic poverty in America.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation said that it will spend $158 million on the issue over the next four years.
Specific programs and grants haven’t been identified but Gates’ new U.S. work will be informed by the U.S. Partnership on Mobility from Poverty.
In an interview this year with The Associated Press, the Gateses talked about broadening their agenda to look at other problems that hinder children in the classroom.
‘Poverty is like education, where there’s not enough philanthropic resources to take on responsibility, but if you can show how to have a lot more impact, then the policies will benefit from that,’ Bill said.
