Hollywood is learning the ways of appeasing Indian audiences to grow their foothold and connecting with Indian movie stars and making them the front to promote the movies is the latest trend they are following. Ranveer Singh is the voice of Deadpool in the second movie of the franchise. Before that, Rana Daggubati was the voice of villain Thanos in the Telugu version of Avengers: Infinity War.

The list goes on. Tiger Shroff voiced Peter Parker in the Hindi version of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Varun Dhawan was Steve Rogers in Captain America: Civil War, Arshad Warsi was the voice of Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean and Shah Rukh Khan was Mr Incredible in 2004 movie The Incredibles' Hindi version.

What we are going to describe now may fall under 'mild spoiler' category for Deadpool 2 So those who don't want to know about it, please turn away right now and read the spoiler-free review instead.

Speaking of Deadpool and Shah Rukh Khan, the latest outing of Merc with Mouth pays tribute to Badshah of Bollywood and Mozart of Madras AR Rahman's movie Swades. Of course, it is done in that particular Deadpool style of insulting and loving everyone at the same time.

In 2016's Deadpool, when Wade Wilson aka Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) met Indian cab driver Dopinder (Karan Soni) for the first time, we heard Raj Kumar's iconic 'Mera Joota Hai Japani' from the movie Shree 420. The song didn't serve a purpose then. It just established that Dopinder is Indian.

But in Deadpool 2, towards the climax, we hear AR Rahman and Shah Rukh Khan's song 'Yuhin Chala Chal' from movie Swades. In the scene, Deadpool, Cable (Josh Brolin), and Domino (Zazzie Beetz) double down on Cable over his racist nature as he orders Dopinder to turn the volume down on the inspiring, cheerful song while they all are inching towards some serious action scenes (that also include massive CGI fights). To Hindi speaking ears, the joke makes more sense because the song asks the squad to keep marching on even though one of them is being racist, difficult, obtuse and all of the above.

Deadpool 2 is filled with such gags. So when you walk in to watch the movie on Friday, be alert and don't miss references and brilliant cameos.

Shah Rukh Khan puts forth his conditions to be a part of 'Vikram Vedha' Hindi remake?
If reports are to be believed, then Shah Rukh Khan has been roped in to star in the Hindi remake of R Madhavan's 'Vikram Vedha'. However, it's not easy to woo over the Badshah of Bollywood. Reports suggest that SRK had put forward two conditions for him to accept the project.

Condition one is that R Madhavan will play his role even in the remake and that he reprises the part of Vijay Sethupathi; the other one is that Neeraj Pandey will not only produce but also direct the film. The original director duo, Pushkar and Gayatri were supposedly retained for the remake too. However, with SRK’s conditions, the scenario might change. Let’s wait and watch.

Recently there were rumours that Shah Rukh Khan might not star in the Hindi remake of 2017 neo-noir Tamil drama, 'Vikram Vedha'. But now reports have it that the actor has finally given a nod for the project.According to a report by an online portal, SRK wanted two major changes in the script, but the makers were unwilling to accommodate them initially.

However, after Neeraj Pandey acquired the remake rights of the film SRK's demands were eventually fulfilled and Neeraj is keen on having Shah Rukh Khan on board for the project. If reports are to be believed then Shah Rukh Khan was offered Madhavan's role in the remake but SRK demanded to play the role of Vijay Sethupathi. Earlier the makers were not sure about the same but latest reports suggest that they have agreed to SRK's demand.Initially, there were reports speculating that the original director duo, Pushkar, and Gayatri will be directing the remake.

But SRK wasn't convinced about the same and wanted Neeraj Pandey to direct the film. Reportedly the makers have even agreed to this demand. Official announcements of the project are yet to be made. Currently, Shah Rukh Khan is shooting for Aanand L Rai’s 'Zero'. The film also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in key roles. 'Zero' is slated to release on December 21, 2018.

But the actor has two conditions towards working in the remake, reports Bollywood Life.
One such condition is that R. Madhavan will play his role even in the remake and the superstar himself will reprise the part of Vijay Sethupathi.

The other condition SRK put forth is that the movie will not only be produced by but also directed by Neeraj Pandey, states the same report.

The original director duo, Pushkar and Gayatri were reportedly being retained for the remake too, but it appears that SRK doesn’t want that to happen and he wants Neeraj’s storytelling for this one.

The author looks back at previous 'World Expos' and lists his expectations from the upcoming one

Dubai will be hosting the World Expo in 2020. Dubai, true to its penchant for grandeur, in fact for everything grandiose, promises to make it an experience like never-never-before. A massive dome with a trellis framework is being designed as the structure that will dominate the Expo 2020 site in Dubai South, doubling up as a 360-degree screen at night, projecting images to thousands of visitors both inside and outside.

Built of light, translucent material, the dome at Al Wasl Plaza – 65 metres tall with a diameter of 150m – will hold an estimated 10,000 visitors. Filled with fountains, waterfalls, parks and palm-lined courtyards, the dome will be partly open to the sky at the top. Most importantly, while the expo area, its domes, its pavilions, its entertainment parks, its gardens and fountains get ready for 2020, Dubai already has a powerful brand ambassador hard-selling the event many months in advance.

Dubai has been running commercials with India’s most stylish Khan, SRK, (inviting the world to Dubai with a heartwarming #BeMyGuest campaign that started a year ago, and has gained momentum with more renditions in the past few months.

The new King Khan-Dubai commercial is currently being aggressively pushed on social media. More so, on WhatsApp, a medium rarely tried so far by any brand. The new SRK commercial was seeded on WhatsApp about three weeks ago, and informed sources say it has already been seen 18 million times so far.

The commercial is accompanied by a short introductory write up that says SRK charged Rs. 30 crore for the advertisement; he stayed at the Burj Al-Arab hotel’s Royal Suite; traveled in a private jet from Mumbai to Dubai; his wardrobe cost was USD 25,000. The narration goes on to credit Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid’s (Ruler of Dubai) wife Rania for the concept and idea behind the Dubai 2020 commercial.
Most WhatsApp users in India would have received a forward of this commercial from a friend or someone from the family.

To be honest, the SRK commercials are nice, but not really outstanding. The launch commercial of a year ago used two visual devices to good effect. The first was SRK wearing a hooded parka, in partial disguise, which worked well to hide his identity till he decided to show himself to unbelieving members of the public.

The second was the excitement and surprise at meeting SRK expressed by covering the face with the palms by all who met the superstar, so unexpectedly. That expression is almost common across all sequences in the commercial. SRK is his usual genial, amiable self, playing the good host.

Be it in the souk or joining the youngsters on a plane going sky-diving or meeting the aunty-ji while jogging or playing beach volleyball or shopping in the mall or serving up a meal in a restaurant, Shah Rukh is his natural self, unpretentious, somewhat mischievous and happily playful.

The cinematography in the commercial is outstanding, especially the end shots of the dancing fountains at the Burj. Dubai looks warm and welcoming with SRK as the host, and ambassador.

Unfortunately, the follow-up SRK commercial is a bit ‘A’ for ‘Apple’, ‘B’ for ‘Boy’. Directed by Kabir Khan, the sequel is not half as good. The honeymooning couple looks very bored, and tensed. The young footballer looks as if he is in a daze. The girls from LA on a road trip and the boys from Singapore look a bit contrived. The parents from Mumbai and the family from NY all look as if they are getting ready for a re-make of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam or some such tear-jerker … very clichéd, very Bollywood.

The camera shoot-throughs at Lego Land and Opera Dubai also look somewhat forced. The entire narrative in this commercial lacks the surprise and spontaneity of the earlier commercial. SRK looks far more forced in this version of the Dubai 2020 invitation.

You cannot blame Dubai for trying hard, in fact very hard, well in advance of the Expo 2020. The promise of ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’ is not going to be easy to deliver. Dubai despite its reputation for being everything that is tallest-biggest-grandest-costliest etc., may already be falling short of what was done for the World Expo, way back in 1889 when Paris hosted a similar world fair. Paris erected the Eiffel Tower, the iconic wrought iron lattice edifice on the Champ de Mars, to welcome the world to its fair. At 324 meters (1,063 feet) in height, the Eiffel then became the tallest man-made structure in the world.

Ever since, over 250 million people have visited this monument. Nothing in the current Dubai plans shows anything quite as monumental or as impactful or as memorable being created for the Dubai fair. Of course there are interesting architectural creations, and possibly well done pavilions too, but somehow after the initial euphoria, Dubai 2020 seems to have lost some of its zing.

The World Expos trace their history to 1851 when the first World Expo was held at The Crystal Palace (The Great Shalimar, as it was also known) in Hyde Park, London. Titled ‘The Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of All Nations’ it was an idea of Prince Albert, Queen Victoria’s husband. The Koh-i-Noor diamond was displayed at the World Fair as part of the India exhibit, as it had been acquired by Great Britain in 1850 as part of the Lahore Treaty.

Also on display was the gorgeous, Daria-i-Noor, one of the rarest pale pink diamonds in the world. The early 8th century Tara Brooch, the finest penannular Irish brooch ever, was also put up for display by Dublin jeweler George Waterhouse.  Interestingly, this World Fair also saw the first modern pay toilets being installed, with 827,280 visitors paying 1 penny fee to use them. In fact ‘Spending a penny’ became a euphemism for using a toilet ever after.

World Expos have been used to showcase many marvels of technology over the past 150 years. In the 1851 London fair mentioned above, Thomas Hancock and Charles Goodyear showcased Vulcanised Rubber to the world, precursor to the invention of automobile tyres. Again in London in 1862, Henry Maudslay showcased the world’s first maritime Steam Engines. The Philadelphia fair in 1876 saw a Typewriter created for the first time by E. Remington and Son, with a QWERTY keyboard that typed only capital letters. Heinz publicized its Ketchup for the first time at this World Fair. Alexander Bell’s Telephone too was first showcased at the Philadelphia fair.

The Chicago 1893 World Fair saw the debut of Architect George Ferris’s Wheel. The first ever Ferris wheel had a 264 foot diameter featuring 36 enclosed cabins and dominated the landscape of the fair. Also at the Chicago fair, over two hundred thousand electric light bulbs were illuminated by Tesla's polyphase alternating current system, making it the most festive looking world fair till then. The first steam powered Tricycle was demoed at Paris World Fair in 1889 by Serpollet-Peugeot. In the year 1900, at Paris again, Rudolf Diesel unveiled the world an engine that would use compressed air to ignite fuel and generate energy. At the same fair Clement Maurice showcased a short film, ‘Cyrano De Bergerac’. The film shot in colour was synchronized to a wax cylinder recording, and is the precursor to modern cinema.

A year later, at Buffalo in 1901, Dr. Sartori Kato presented to the world, a new concoction, the Instant Coffee, for the first time creating a stable soluble coffee powder. In the fair Wilhelm Rontgen unveiled the X-Ray machine. Saint Louis in 1904 saw Harvey Hubbell present his patented plug and socket electrical outlet that kicked off a tidal wave of electrification.

But Saint Louis will actually be more remembered for the fact that the Ice Cream Cone was invented for this World Fair. Ham Burgers, Hot Dogs, Peanut Butter, Cotton Candy and Ice Tea too received world recognition at this fair. The rest, as they say, is history.

One can go on and on about how World Expos have been the home to many inventions over the years. I was fortunate to be at the Aichi World Fair in Japan in 2005. I witnessed Maglev unveil their revolutionary magnetic levitation, used to move objects without touching the ground. In fact I had the privilege of riding the HSST ‘Linimo’ line at the 2005 Expo. What an experience!   Dubai 2020 is still some time away. While Shah Rukh Khan is already active wooing tourists from India, the Expo itself requires to have more magnetism. All the attractions, all the events publicised so far still fall short of the grandeur that one has come to expect from World Fairs. Dubai has never disappointed.

And I am sure they will maintain the same track record of innovation and discovery. The element of ‘surprise’ at Dubai 2020, will hopefully go beyond a handshake with Shah Rukh.

(Sandeep Goyal has been a Dubai fan for well-over 25 years. He has seen the city grow from a sandy lagoon to an amazing cosmosopolis over the past two decades. He has great expectations from Dubai 2020.)

Aryan Khan Looks Like Dad "Shah Rukh Khan"
Gauri Khan posted a photo of Shah Rukh Khan and son Aryan Khan on Instagram and we think it's safe to say that it pretty viral already.

Hello there, Aryan Khan. So good to see you! Gauri Khan posted a photo of Shah Rukh Khan and son Aryan Khan on Instagram and we think it's safe to say that it pretty viral already! Instagrammed on Thursday morning, the photo has garnered almost 2 lakh 'likes' by evening with over 2,030 comments pouring in.

What's interesting is that, a majority of Gauri Khan's Instafam (count in choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan and interior designer Sussanne Khan) thinks that the 19-year-old Khan looks just like his superstar father. Farah Khan's comment is basically all of us: "Can't decide who is handsomer," she wrote while Sussanne added: "Uff! I think I died and went to heaven."

Other users on Gauri's Instagram posted reviews like: "Like father like son", "Same double copy", "Can't decide which one is Shah Rukh."

This is what we are talking about:

It's a delight of course but also quite a bit surprising to see Aryan Khan make an official appearance on mom Gauri's Instagram because he already has a reputation for not being a big fan of the social media fever. In September last year, Gauri dared to share a photo of Aryan with this disclaimer: "Posting an image of my son without his permission... hope I don't get fired." Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan had also revealed that he was forbidden by his family to share photos of them on social media. But he turned out to be a rule breaker, just like Gauri.

A post shared by Gauri Khan (@gaurikhan) on

Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana, 17, is finishing school and goes to Mumbai's Dhirubhai Ambani International School. Meanwhile, Aryan is in California, where he's pursuing a course in filmmaking. Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri are also parents to little AbRam, who will soon turn five.

Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan are superheroes. Mask doesn't make anyone a superhero - Anurag

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who has written the upcoming superhero film 'Bhavesh Joshi', today said a mask does not make an actor a superhero.

'Bhavesh Joshi', featuring Harshvardhan Kapoor in the lead, is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane.

Asked about younger generation of actors not getting acceptance in the superhero genre and if that is one of the reasons why filmmakers are not making such movies, Anurag said, "I don't think a filmmaker thinks like that. If a filmmaker is obsessed with an idea, that is what drives him to make the film."

"He doesn't think about rejection or anything. Our actors are superheroes without the mask. What will happen if you make a superhero a superhero? Like 'Ironman' can't be a 'Spiderman'," the 45-year-old director-producer said.

"Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan are superheroes. Mask doesn't make anyone a superhero. It is a different film and has a different take of Vikramaditya Motwane," he added.

Asked about Indian filmmakers making movies on the lines of Hollywood films such as 'Avengers: Infinity War', Anurag said budget is still an issue.

"Even if we combine the budget of all the films we make, that would be less than the budget of 'Avengers'. The English language lends itself to a larger audience like how Hindi reaches a larger audience in India."

The team of 'Bhavesh Joshi' said their film will see Harshvardhan as a student-turned-vigilante. The actor said 'Bhavesh Joshi' is not a regular superhero film.

"It is not a quintessential superhero film like 'Krrish'. The idea is that there is a hero within all of us. It is about action speaking louder than words, it is about if something is not right what are you going to do about it? It is a super power, it is a real film," the 27-year-old actor added.

Motwane believes that vigilante culture is in existence in the Hindi cinema since 1970s and it is reflected in some of the films of Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Dharmendra and others.

"This is throwback to 70s. The superhero genre came in America from 30s when corruption and crime was very rampant. When the justice system is not working out, you need vigilante justice."

"There was time when you need a hero. That person can be a with or without a face. Our heroes are about vigilante justice like 'Singham' is vigilante and Salman Khan has played vigilante in so many films,"he said.
The film in set to release on May 25.

Remember when Mr Modi knocked the ultimate fashion sixer outside the park by wearing a suit the stripes of which actually were his own name embroidered in a loop? Here is a reminder.
Well we thought no one could top it, because of its sheer uniqueness. Probably we are right, too, but that doesn't mean no one can give him a tough competition. It just happened, and the attempt was made by none other than our very own Mr Shah Rukh Khan. SRK was just spotted wearing a jacket that had his own name - SRK - embroidered on it. Take a look.

Isn't it dope? We are in love with this 'Got my name on, so?' vibe - delightfully nonchalant, yet charmingly narcissistic. We don't know anyone who can pull it off without looking like they are trying hard.
Coming to his outfit, we approve of the choice of white t-shirt and white sneakers. What other colour can possibly hold its own against the black playfulness going on? The plain white t-shirt is the perfect accompaniment to the casual baggy black jacket with its yellow detailing.
We like the vertical slogan detailing on the jacket sleeves, not to mention the 'S R K' in yellow on the left side, casually embroidered on as a part of the design. If someone didn't know who he is, they could totally overlook it as a part of the jacket itself. But who doesn't know SRK? Is it the part of an inside joke or a bet against someone? Knowing how humorous he is, it's totally possible. All we can say is that it's dope.

After Mera Joota Hai Japani, Deadpool 2 to feature song from Shah Rukh Khan’s Swades

After playing Mera Joota Hai Japani in the first film, Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 2 promotes Dopinder to sidekick and also features Yuhi Chala Chal from the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer, Swades.

Indian fans are being given special treatment in Marvel movies - the first Deadpool movie opened with the evergreen Hindi song, Mera Joota Hai Japani and there was a reference to Hanuman in Black Panther. And now, according to reports, the new Deadpool movie features the song Yun Hi Chala Chal from Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Swades. Spoilers follow, so if you don’t want to know details about a particular scene in the film, stop reading.

According to a report in BollywoodLife, the song is playing on Dopinder’s stereo when the Indian cabbie is driving Deadpool, Cable and Domino to a destination. Cable is annoyed at the choice of soundtrack and even commands Dopinder to turn the song off, which prompts Deadpool to call him a racist.

Music and Dopinder’s nationality aren’t the only Indian connections in Deadpool 2 - the Hindi dub version will feature Ranveer Singh voicing the central character and YouTuber Bhuvan Bam voicing Dopinder.

Directed by David Leitch, Deadpool 2 stars Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin, Zazie Beetz, Karan Soni, Morena Baccarin and others. The film will release in India on Friday and is projected to make over Rs 2,300 crore in its worldwide opening weekend.

A Shah Rukh Khan fan decided to propose to her boyfriend when he wouldn’t do it for her.
Let’s put it in straight, clear words: Shah Rukh Khan has ruined lives. Sure he gave so many of us a purpose to live and a renewed faith in love through his beautiful movies, we still can’t deny the blatant destruction he left in his path.

The actor’s romantic movies, the love songs, the dreamy locations, the fairytale proposals have been raising women’s hopes from men (and love in general) for quite a few decades now. We too want a Raj for our Simran and a Rahul to our Anjali. But because we are no Simrans or Anjalis or Poojas ourselves, we rarely find ourselves in a love story so pure. However, a woman decided to break out of the dream and create her own fairytale.

In a recent post made by India’s answer to Humans of New York, Humans of Bombay shared the story of a fed-up Bengali woman who decided to propose to her boyfriend when he would not give her the ‘Shah Rukh Khan treatment.’ Because their parents took a lot of time to be convinced for the wedding, the couple didn’t really have much scope for a full-blown, surprise filmy proposal. But the Bollywood crazy bride decided she wanted to turn Shah Rukh Khan for her husband and proposed to him on his birthday instead.

Read her story here:

“Shahrukh Khan ruined my life!

Since I was a little girl, I always dreamed of having the ‘perfect proposal’ from the perfect man. Violins would start playing in the background, he would walk up to me slowly, while the wind blew in my hair, fall to his knees and hand me the ring.

But that never happened. In fact, we found ourselves in the middle of this mess where I was trying to convince my Bengali parents to let me marry a Punjabi Baniya! We’d been dating for 3 years, but the majority of that time was spent on bringing our families together. At one point in our relationship, we were sure that we were going to get married --so he never even tried to ‘surprise’ me with a proposal.

Amidst all this drama of a big, fat Indian wedding, I realised-- I never had my filmy moment! So, on his birthday, I decided to take the matter into my own hands. I planned a surprise party at the restaurant where we had our first date, and as soon as he walked in-- I asked the DJ to play “Marry Me” by Bruno Mars and fell to my knees when he walked in.

I said ‘Ashish Aggrawal-- I want to spend the rest of my life laughing, crying and fighting with you-- will you marry me?’ He looked at me, smirked, pulled me in for a hug and whispered - ‘let’s hope our kids aren’t as filmy!’

And just like that, I created the moment I’d been waiting for..why do women have to wait for the guy to propose? It’s a new day, new age-- if you like him, then maybe you should put a ring on it!”

While most comments are praising the woman and her story, many missed the sarcasm of her tone by a mile. They are asking her what is Shah Rukh’s fault in this situation. “SRK didnt ruin your life.....he showed you how beautiful it can be...he never told anyone this will happen with everyone off the reel.....besides did you just compare ur man with king of romance?,” a comment read. We guess people will always find something to hate on even on a wholesome post as this one. Here’s hoping they catch the sarcasm in the headline above.

The team owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, Shah Rukh Khan, was quick to respond to the acting talent displayed by KKR stars.
With Kolkata Knight Riders registering two consecutive victories and climbing at the third position in the table with 14 points in 13 games, the atmosphere in the team’s camp has lightened since the humiliating home defeat against Mumbai Indians by 102 runs over a week ago. With a few days still remaining for their final round robin game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, the KKR stars indulged in a fun activity as they displayed their acting talents.

In a video shared on Twitter, KKR players enacted some of the popular dialogues of the team owner Shah Rukh Khan. In the video, Chris Lynn, Sunil Narine, skipper Dinesh Karthik, Robin Uthappa, Piyush Chawla, Kuldeep Yadav, Shivam Mavi and Shubman Gill tried their best in matching up to SRK’s levels in acting.

The most hillarious moment in the video was Chris Lynn, who is an Australian cricketer and does not speak hindi, enacted SRK’s dialogue from the movie Raees, and said, “Battery nahi bolne ka (Don’t call me battery)!”

SRK was quick to respond to the video in his usual funny manner and joked that the cricketers should leave the acting to him.

In a tweet, the Bollywood actor said, “As much as I love my team, here’s the deal. I leave the cricket to u & u leave the acting to me!! Ha ha.”
Kolkata Knight Riders need to win their final encounter to confirm a spot in the Playoffs, with atleast four other teams still fighting for a spot.

[Spoiler] SRK fans will have a double treat while watching Deadpool 2 – here’s why

[Spoiler] SRK fans will have a double treat while watching Deadpool 2 – here’s the Reasons, why ?

Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 2 opened to rave critical reviews worldwide. The actor shines bright in this sequel that is raunchier, funnier and weirder than Deadpool. Ryan teams up with Josh Brolin and Zazie Beetz to star in what could be tagged as the funniest superhero movie till date.

There were many outstanding moments in the entire movie and some hilarious digs that made us beam from ear to ear. Deadpool 2 writers did a splendid job in targeting all the superheroes in the universe and not differentiating between DC or Marvel. And while chuckling to this Merc with a mouth’s funny one liners wasn’t enough for us to cheer for him, the makers had an additional surprise for all their Indian fans. Yes, they had a Shah Rukh Khan song playing in the background in one of the scenes and me being a true SRK fan, I was all sold at that moment.

Wondering which Shah Rukh Khan song did they play in the background? Well, it was Yun Hi Chala Chal from Ashutosh Gowariker directorial Swades that released in 2004. Yes, you can hear the AR Rahman composition being played in the background when Deadpool and his X-Force are in Dopinder’s cab going for their next mission.

The song will instantly bring a smile on the face of all the Indian fans and SRK fans may even dance with joy. It was great to see some Indian connection in the movie after Dopinder of course. Wonder if the Zero actor even knew about it or he was totally clueless.

I was one of the few lucky ones who had an opportunity to watch and review the movie three days prior to release. The movie was personally very engaging for me. You will find yourself beaming from ear to ear on most of the occasions and you can blame the dialogues for giving you a major stomach ache.

Self praising, hilarious and fourth wall breaking lines will keep you entertained throughout the film. While I have seen many superheroes movies till date, who catered to typical family audiences, Deadpool is different. It’s gross and justifies its R-rating which ultimately works in its favour. The movie is expected to create a havoc at the box office just like its prequel.

Shah Rukh Khan, the top movie star in India and one of the top stars in the world, is filming his new movie in Alabama this month, producers say.
Production began this week in Huntsville of the film "Zero" starring Khan and Indian actresses Katrina Kaif and Anuska Sharma. Crews have filmed at Grille 29, the Huntsville Botanical Garden and the Hindu Cultural Center of Alabama in Harvest.

Film co-producer Karuna Badwal, who is also Khan's business manager, talked about the project Thursday at the Hindu Cultural Center of North Alabama outside Huntsville, where several dozen actors and locals were dressed in traditional Indian clothes for a temple scene.

Badwal would not discuss the film's plot in detail, but she said some scenes will be filmed at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. The film will be the most expensive Indian movie ever made, she said, partly because of the technical equipment the plot requires. Producers have brought 90 people from India to Huntsville and hired another 50 from American production companies, Badwal said.

Prashant Shah, U.S. executive producer for the film, worked with the Alabama Film Office and the U.S. Space & Rocket Center to arrange production of the film in Huntsville.

Friday's filming was of a wedding blessing from a priest to a couple engaged to be married. The cast went through several takes while visitors, including U.S. Space & Rocket Center CEO Dr. Deborah Barnhart, watched from the back of the temple.

Khan has not arrived in Huntsville, and producers won't say when he will arrive or how long he will be in the city. Known in India and around the world as SRK, Khan has appeared in more than 80 films. He is the co-owner of his own film production company and has won awards for his support for children's education and for women's and children's rights in India.

Hindu center President Rashpal Thakur said having a movie shot at the center "is a new experience," but he said it was "a very thrilling experience to share our religion and culture."

The Huntsville area has a large Indian and Indian-American community with many members employed by the city's aerospace and defense industries. Thakur said the center has 1,000 families on its roles with about 500 active at any given time.

Singer Mika Singh, who performed at the wedding reception of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, said it is very difficult to make two superstars like Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan dance together on the stage.

Mika Singh was interacting with the media along with model Aarti Khetarpal and Singer Madhu Valli, during the launch of song 'Sama - The Summer Love' on Wednesday in Mumbai. Sharing his experience of the latest Bollywood wedding reception that took place on Tuesday, Mika said, "I will never forget this party in my entire life because it was one of the biggest days of my life."

He said when he was performing, Shah Rukh and Salman came on stage and "took the whole atmosphere to another level". "It is very difficult to make the two superstars dance together on the stage. Both of them were dancing on stage for almost an hour. Then Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor did lot of fun on stage," Mika said.

When asked whether Salmam should also marry now, Mika said, "I think Salman is an ultimate human being. He is really handsome and down to earth individual and when he sings, he looks really cute. I think he is the real King. Earlier, Kings used to have so many girlfriends. I don't think he needs anyone."
Talking about the challenges he faced while producing 'Sama - The Summer Love', Mika said, "Today's generation like to listen new sound, music and voice. It's already a hit and popular song. We had a meeting with Sa Re Ga Ma when we decided to recreate this song because original rights of the songs are with Sa Re Ga Ma."
'Sama- The Summer Love' is produced by Mika Singh's Music and Sound and sung by US-based model and singer Madhu Valli. Sumit Bharadwaj has directed the music video. Madhu Valli, Aarti Khetarpal and Raika Khan has featured in the song along with Mika Singh.
